Whistler Art Workshops on the Lake Series #1 June 1-3, 2007 The first in the new series
of Art Workshops on the Lake. Workshops include How to Paint Snow, Water and Skies with a Limited Palette.
This three-day water colour workshop with artist and instructor Jack Reid is suitable for beginners and
advanced students of art. Jack's work is available for viewing at the Mountain Galleries at the Fairmont

. The Whistler Art Workshop on the Lake Series is hosted throughout the summer at rustic Chaplainville House,

Summer Glacier Skiing & Snowboarding on Blackcomb Mountain Begins June 4, 2007 The sun is
shining, the lakes are sparkling and it's the perfect time to go skiing and riding. Blackcomb Mountain enjoys
the longest ski season in North America with spring skiing and snowboarding continuing through June 3. Hardcore
winter enthusiasts need not despair since Blackcomb's famed glacier opens June 4. The Blackcomb Glacier
experience is recommended for intermediate to advanced skiers and riders. The Glacier is also a great place
to work on your tan.
The RBC Olympians Experience Friday June 8 - 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday June 9 & Sunday 10
- 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Location: Skiers Plaza, Whistler Village The Royal Bank of Canada Olympians
Experience tour is a free event and is one of the largest touring exhibits of its kind ever staged in Canada.

Whistler Cancer Awareness & Prevention Walk June 16, 2007 - 8:30 a.m. start Help increase
awareness, prevention and a cure for cancer. Take part in this Canadian Cancer Society of BC fundraiser.
Participants will walk distances ranging from five to 25 kilometres on Whistler's beautiful Valley Trail.
