It is a photography exhibition featuring scenes of backcountry skiing and snowboarding in our backyard (ie: British Columbia’s mountains).
This exhibition is very special for all because it does not only showcase the work of famous and upcoming photographers but also images of enthusiast and exciting amateurs from all over British Columbia.
Organized by the Whistler Arts Council and exhibited at the Maurice Young Millennium Place, this art show display the best of what Whistler has to offer to locals and visitors. From the 6th to the 11th, men and women will compete in Downhill and Super Combined events for the Pontiac GMC Canadian Championships.
And the best of the best will stay for the next week's event: FIS World Cup Alpine Ski Races between February 18 and 24. The races will be women's Downhill and Super Combined and the men's Super G and Giant Slalom.
