Lawyer, public speaker and environmental activist, Robert F. Kennedy Jr. will be speaking at the upcoming AWARE 20th anniversary.
The event is scheduled to take place between 5pm and 9pm on Wednesday March 4, 2009 at the TELUS Whistler Conference Centre.
AWARE is the Association of Whistler Area Residents for the Environment and the event will start with a presentation called 'Our Environmental Destiny'. Later on in the evening, a VIP reception will be held.
Kennedy has been named as one of the Heroes of the Planet by Time Magazine and is well known for his studies and reputation for defending the planet. He holds a Masters Degree in Environmental Law and has published many books about the environment, making him a perfect keynote speaker for this special event.
