If you haven't checked out the first Peak 2 Peak chair lift in the world yet, there is no where cooler in Whistler to be. Of course the Peak 2 Peak Gondola is just one of many hip places to check out.
The Crystal Hut sits proudly on Blackcomb Mountain and is the perfect winter hideout to enjoy a cold pint. On a clear day, check out the patio where the view is inspiring to say the least.
If you're looking for something with a faster pace, The GLC always attracts a crowd. The manager describes the food menu as, "epicurean hedonism" and with the latest ski and snowboarding videos played to reggae and ambient house music, this sophisticated lounge/restaurant/club shouldn't be missed.
If the club scene isn't your thing, be sure to visit Garfinkels, which consistently pulls in big name acts but has an intimate atmosphere, making it a sweet and memorable place to check out gigs.
Why not check out Tommy Africa's, complete with dance floor where you can burn all that energy to your heart's content and on Monday nights they host a popular 80's night.
Another cool spot is Maxx Fish. The music is upbeat and the dance floor is right in the middle of the action.
With all this apres excitement you may need to wind down and take a breather. The perfect place for this is The Library where you can relax and enjoy their computer room, read a magazine in the reading room, with a coffee or take in the diverse DVD collection.
