Family vacation home in Whistler

Whistler offers many lodging options, but when you are coming as a family, fancy hotels may not be the ideal choice. Alpine Vacation has the answer you are looking for.

taluswood_bluffs_kitchen.jpgUnit 15 of Taluswood The Bluffs is located in Whistler Creekside, which means a little apart from the frenzy of the Village but still a few minutes away from all the activities.
In addition the complex has unparalleled view on the valley and Whistler Mountain, and is a ski-in ski-out accommodation. Some little ‘plus’ that will make your stay that much more enjoyable.

This unit has two bedrooms, one of which can have a king or two twins, so you can easily accommodate small and older kids. It can accommodate up to five guests, so your whole family can stay at an affordable price. The living area has a beautiful view on the surroundings and a fireplace will bring some warmth to your evenings.

The complex has a hot tub, in what is probably the finest location in Whistler, to which you have access. There is also underground parking, so no worry about that.

Alpine Vacation recommends this unit for a family or a small group of friends looking for the perfect and yet affordable accommodation in Whistler.

Arts and culture from Whistler in Whistler

In Whistler, we always try to emphasize arts and cultural events whenever possible, to balance a bit with the extra-sporty activities that fill your and our days.

outofbounds_whistler.jpgWith the Out of Bounds: Tales from the Backcountry, arts meet sports and culture meets Whistler dreams in one place.

It is a photography exhibition featuring scenes of backcountry skiing and snowboarding in our backyard (ie: British Columbia’s mountains).
This exhibition is very special for all because it does not only showcase the work of famous and upcoming photographers but also images of enthusiast and exciting amateurs from all over British Columbia.

Organized by the Whistler Arts Council and exhibited at the Maurice Young Millennium Place, this art show display the best of what Whistler has to offer to locals and visitors. Four professionals reviewed all images received before choosing the artists and pictures that would best represent the mountain culture and beauty of the backcountry.

This is just one of the many events happening this year in Whistler. Whenever you come, ask your host at Alpine Whistler what are the shows, concerts, exhibits and events not to miss, so you will be sure to enjoy every part of your stay in your Whistler accommodations.
